The main idea of this training was to motivate young workers, leaders, coaches and other stakeholders of civil society, to use sport and sports activities as a tool to stimulate active participation of the youth within the society, as well as to deepen the social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities.
The side goals of the training were to improve the personal and professional development of participants, so they could disseminate the principles of the training in their own organisations and local communities.
This training took place at the CREPS of the town of Wattignies, from the 17th to the 25th of May 2013 (?), and gathered thirty participants from all Europe (Germany, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Turkey, Spain, Romania, Italy, Portugal, Great-Britain and France). Beyond learning animation techniques, implementations, sports activities and sharing, participants could enlarge their network and create new partnerships.
A European sportive event ended the training, at the Jardin des Sports of Lille, at Faubourg de Béthune, during which football tournaments and initiations to different sports (taekwondo, volley ball…) were organised.
